It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Earlene Stallings Scott of Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on January 14, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Earlene Stallings may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Earlene Stallings touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Wright and Mary Gore Wright; her former husband Jessie Stallings; her husband Carter Scott; her great grandchild Gabe Taylor; her siblings, Ezell Barnes and Tillman Wright; and her son-in-law Bob Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Satterwhite of Roanoke and Phillis Taylor of Wadley. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (512 Main St, Roanoke, AL 36274).
