With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beatrice Walker of Roanoke, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Salmor Cornelius and Martha Cornelius; and her sister Ida Frances Holloway. She is survived by: her husband Calvin R. Walker of Roanoke; and her children, Theresa Mitchum (Keith), Sherry Walker, Calvin Walker, Jr. (Jennifer), Denise Diamond (George) and Chris Walker (Darciss). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations in Mrs. Walker's memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
