He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Tait and Betty Mae Drummond Tait; his brothers, Jerry, Larry and Jimmy Tait; and his nephews, Ernest Tait, David Ciaburri and Jerry Tait, Jr. (Sid).
He is survived by: his wife Sue Thompson Tait; his daughter Denise Moore (Keeley) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Patrick Moore, Micah Moore, Taylor Moore and Mackenzie Moore; and his sisters, Cynthia Ciaburri of Riverside, AL and Carol Cowan (Roy) of Fairhope, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and longtime friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will maintain distance and wear masks for a celebration of life Memorial service held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlors, Southside location in the West Chapel, 2116 University Boulevard, Birmingham, AL 35233.
