He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Carmichael and Hazel Carmichael; and his siblings, Gwen Verges, Carlos Carmichael, Johnny Carmichael and Bernard Fomby.
He is survived by: his children, Gary McCormick (Shawana) and Tequia McCormick; and his godchildren, Patricia Carmichael, Gigi Carmichael, Renee Wade, Chichita Carmichael, Rozita Carmichael, Duncan Carmichael, Willie Carter, James Carmichael, Kevin Carmichael and Steven Ware. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
