He is survived by: his children, Jana Thomas (Rebecca Lackey) and John Robin Thomas Jr. (Heather); his grandchildren, Trae (Ariel), Evan (Racheal), Ethan and Kara Grace; his great grandchild Hayes; his brothers, Dan Thomas (Judy) and Jerry Thomas; and his sister-in-law Janie Hopewell (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
