He is survived by: his wife Reba Bragg Trott; his son James Payton Trott Jr. (Tonya); his grandchildren, Michael Justin Trott (Kristi), Jamie Luree Oates (Dustin) and Alexander Robert Trott; his great grandchildren, Adalynn Luree Oates and Lillian Jane Trott; and his brother Quillie E. Trott (Elke). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
