He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tollison and Dollie Tollison; his siblings, Red Tollison, Mattie Davis and Peggy Williams; and his grandson Byron Jade Tollison, Sr. (Tollison).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Tollison; his children, Johnnie Tollison (Dixie), Larry Tollison, Chester Tollison, Dennis Tollison (Charida), Becky Wade (Rodney), Sheila Windsor (Melvin) and Pam Parker (Tony); and his sister Laura Hartley. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
