She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayburn Russell Gaston and Ruth Netherine Manley Gaston; and her brother Ray Gaston of Mount Hope, Alabama.. She is survived by: her husband Charles William Sanford; her daughters, Sandy Standridge (Terry), Cindy Ulrich (Joe) and Charlice LaFavor (Willie); her grandchildren, George Ulrich, Russell Standridge (Kalee) and Andy LaFavor (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Conner Ulrich and Sadie Standridge; and her nieces and nephews, LaShun Daniel, Sharon Holyoak, Tammy Sanford, Lisa Sanford, Jon Anderson, Andy LaFavor, Conner Ulrich, Brent Eaton, Russell Standridge and Jeff Woodruff.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home Chapel (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640).
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
