She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Wesley Black; her parents, Owen Armistead and Lena Armistead; and her siblings, O. T. Armistead, Trula Edge, Ora Mae Haddox, Jewell Baugh, Nettie Craft and Lela Newton.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Wayne Black (Angie) of Monroeville, Cathy Busby (George) of Bermuda and Trisha Booker (Randy) of Bermuda; and her siblings, Ralph Armistead of Grove Hill and Dot Bell of Thomasville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
