He was predeceased by: his parents, George Forrest Coover and Lucille Frances Camp Coover; his wife Gwendolyn Watford Coover; his daughter Allison Coover Kile; his son-in-law Rick Kile; his sister Mary Watford Stabler; and his brothers-in-law, Woodrow Watford and Newton Watford.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Bradley Coover of Repton; his children, Gary Coover of Cailfornia, Timothy Coover (Gwen) of Mobile, Brian Coover (Christina) of Pensacola, Jeffery Coover (Shana) of Birmingham, Steven Bradley (Eileen) of Repton, Felise Rigdon (Wade) of Birmingham and Cindy Sawyer Baggett (DeRonald) of Brewton; and his brother Darrell Coover of California. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
