She was predeceased by: her husband John Edward Davis; her parents, Tilton Butler and Rose Butler; her brothers, Earl and James Butler; her granddaughter Samantha L. Newton; her brothers-in-law, Don Brown, Robert Barnett, Cliff Hickman, Gerald Davis and E. J. Hiers; and her parents-in-law, Sam and Luverne Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Davis (Paige) of Fort Worth, TX and Jennifer D. Reeder (Michael) of Pensacola, FL; her sisters, Bessie Ruth Barnett of Castleberry, AL, Betty Sue Hickman of Semmes, AL and Annie Merle Brown of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Dean (Christina), Nikki (Cody), Johnathan (Sarah), Donald (Alanna) and Kimberly; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Couter (Bob), Betty Sue Hiers and Bobby Davis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
