She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Jeter and Effie Lee Caraway Cumbie; her siblings, Earl Jeter, Edwin Jeter, Danny Jeter and Patsy Cumbie Taylor; and her nephew Quinton Adam Peavy.
She is survived by: her son Charles Matthews (Jessica) of Silver Springs, MD; her sisters, Sherry Jeter Buckhault of Atmore, AL and Marilyn Cumbie Peavy (Curtis Moye) of Uriah, AL; and her grandchildren, Owen Matthews and Phoebe Matthews.
