We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2020, at the age of 80, Benton Newton of Repton, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Newton and Maebelle Newton; his son Joseph Newton; and his siblings, Gerald Newton, Robbie Edmonds, Willodean Webb and Linda Faye Wilkerson.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Newton of Repton, AL; his daughters, Michelle Newton White, Suzanne Adams (David), Susan Lancaster (Burke) of Repton, AL and Debbie King (Steve) of Aiken, SC; his brothers-in-law, Phillip Storey of Aiken, SC and Johnny Storey of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, Wayne Adams, Megan Adams, Shanna Adams, Jasmine Newton, Joseph Newton, Jr., Chad King and Chris King; and his great grandchildren, Colby Adams, Payton Adams, Dawson Skipper and Abella Adams. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
