He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur and Doris Marie Newman Cozad; his son Robert Hayes Cozad, Jr.; his grandson Mark Cozad; and his siblings, Jack, Sonny Cozad, Evelyn Adams, Ruth Bearden and Mary Corbin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Alcorn Cozad; his children, Danny Mims, Tammy Trupp (John), Suzanne Shostak (Joe), Kathy Whipple (Brent) and Sandi Cozad; and his brother Jerry Cozad. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
