Richard Linn Obituary

Richard Allen Linn, age 52, of Remlap, passed away June 24, 2010. He was of the Catholic faith, a pipe fitter/welder with MSC Mechanical and a subcontractor with Classic Iron Works. He was preceded in death by his first wife Lori Kim Hoffman Linn, grandparents Wallace Linn and Annie Mary Linn, John Gallagher Sr. and Catherine Powell, brother in law Marty Rathbun, godfather John Gallagher II.

Services will be on Tuesday June 29, at 10am in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5 until 8pm Monday. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 17 years Dawn Rathbun Linn, daughters Jennifer Linn Smith (Calvin), Jesika Linn, parents Catherine "Missie" Linn and Richard Wallace Linn, sisters Donna Linn Essig (Ernie), Carol Linn Bonham, Kathleen Linn, grandchild Kymberlie Ann Smith, nephew Brandon Verwyst, nieces Katelyn Goodwin, Emily Adkins (Michael), mother in law Gayla Rathbun, father in law Marvin Rathbun, and a host of family, friends and pets.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society in honor of Kim Linn and Marty Rathbun. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
