She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Earl Wells; her parents, Clarence Bright and Iva Bright; her siblings, Mildred Smith and Kenneth Bright; and her great grandchild Alexis Burks.

She is survived by: her children, Jacque Wells (Kathy), Marla Ray (Ronnie) and Leia Daniels; her grandchildren, Seth Wells, Brittnee Vann, Rainey Armstrong (Chris), Jean Burks (Blake), Matthew Farley and Savannah Bryson Erica Hooper (Tristan); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Hooper, Andy Hooper, Jackie Burks, Lucas Burks, Whitney Farley, Brady Armstrong, Matteo Farley and Bryson; her siblings, Harold Bright (Cheri) and Regina Fisher (Mike); and her friend Carter Hudson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Peggy's favorite charity was St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
