She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Hogland; her daughter Shannon Hogland; her parents, Bill Nugent and Nell Sanders Nugent; and her sister Donna Cato.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hogland and Samantha Plyler (Andrew); her granddaughters, Hannah Plyler and Jasmine Peterson; and her sisters, Sandy Cone, Paula Hunt and Phyllis Layton.
