He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Amerson (Benji); his grandchildren, Kendall, Tyler and Jason; his niece Richelle Smith (Rickey); his sisters, Shirley Cline and Marie Cotney; and his siblings-in-law, Robert (Mary Jo), Richard Abernathy (Sue) and Nadine Bryant (Harry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
