He was predeceased by: his mother Bertie Yaw; his brother Billy Wayne Yaw; his granddaughter Catherine Sherrill Yaw; and his mother-in-law Mozell Wester. He is survived by: his wife Jammie Wester Yaw; his children, George W. Yaw, Jr. (Mary), Chip Yaw (Sherrill) and Vickey Motherway (Mike); and his half-brothers, Wallace Page (Kathy) and Ronnie Page. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
