With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Coy Thurston Head of Remlap, Alabama, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Thomas Head and Elsie Smith Head; his son Marty Head; and his siblings, Billy Head, Thomas James Head (TJ), Shirley Head, James Head, Joseph Calvert, George Calvert, Louie Calvert, Claudia Head and Velma Calvert Fallin.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Head; his sons, Tim Head (Vyckie), Ron Head (Jennifer) and Jeff Head (Bobbie); his grandchildren, Amanda Ferguson (Christopher), Jennifer Faith Head, Taylor Wilson (Stephen), Coleman Head, Joseph Head, Craig Head (Wendy) and Amy Head; his great grandchildren, Braden, Kaley, Tyler Rose, Jesse and Sophie; and his sister Alice Faye Head. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Remlap Fire Rescue Station 1, 40 Fire Fighter Lane, Remlap, Alabama 35133.
