He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Garrard and Coy Garrard; his son Jason Garrard; and his siblings, Diane Beasley, Brenda Hailey and Eugene Garrard.
He is survived by: his son Eric Garrard of Reform, AL; his siblings, Joanne Permenter and Willard Garrard; and his cousin Dean Wilkerson. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
