He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bobby Lee Sentell, Cecil Sentell, Louis Sentell and Dorothy Oden; his nephews, Steve Oglesby, Sr. and Sam Oglesby; and his parents, William "Kate" Sentell and Sarah Collier Sentell.
He is survived by: his stepson Steve Oglesby (Tara); his sister-in-law Connie Sentell; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Parker, Tyler Parker and Kaley Parker; his nephew Bubba Oglesby; and his nieces, Sara Shaw (Homer), Becky Sentell, Jennifer Hudson (John) and Tonya Rogers (Austin). He is also survived by ten great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home Chapel (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481).
