He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Berry; his parents, Aubrey Berry and Sarah Kervin Berry; his siblings, Arell Berry, Willene Berry, Hazel Maraman and Madine Lee; his nephew Randall Berry; and his niece Teresa Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ballard of Red Level; his children, Aubrey Frank Berry (Teresa) of River Falls, Joseph James Berry of Red Level and Melda Berry Robinson (DeWayne) of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Willie Ballard (Hazel) of Andalusia, Rickey Ballard (Sherry) of Dothan, Rudon Ballard (Toni) of Andalusia and Sandra Best (Patrick) of Luverne, AL; and his siblings, Leray (Lucinell Berry) and Frances (Douglas Castleberry). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
