He was predeceased by: his parents, Melba Davis and Sumpter Davis; his son Timothy Mark Davis; his siblings, J. W. Davis, Frank Davis, Jimmy Davis, Billy Davis, Barbara Allen and Virginia Justice; and his granddaughter Kimberley Short.
He is survived by: his brother Billy Boles; his wife Esther Parker Davis of Red Level; his daughters, Donna Davis Barnes of Loango, Tina Davis McClain (Bobby) of Loango and Brenda Davis Johnson (Gary) of Loango; his grandchildren, Brandon Short (Janie) of Loango, Amy Palmer (Daniel) of Loango, Tori Adams (Kyle) of Loango, Lauren Gipson (Josh) of Georgiana, Josh Davis of Andalusia, Haley Robinson (Charlie) of Andalusia and Hannah Sasser (Levi) of Andalusia; and his siblings, Elizabeth Guidry of Texas, Rhonda Patterson of Red Level, Wanda Morris of River Falls, Mickey Davis of Andalusia and Robert Davis of Red Level. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
