She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Earnest Jeter; her parents, James Oscar Echols and Lula Oliver Echols of Virginia; and her siblings, Edith Lucille Ramer, Annie Mae Davis, Willie Clyde Echols, James Echols (Bill), Harry Lavon Echols and Ronald Dewayne Echols.
She is survived by: her siblings, Margie Echols, Esther Ramer, Fannie Lou Brown and Lee Echols; her sons, Monty Ray Jeter (Shannon), Dewayne Jeter (Linda), Chuck Alan Jeter (Amy) and Jeffery Dale Jeter (Grace); her grandchildren, Kent Lewis, Charles Curtis Jeter, Ashley Beau Jeter (Andi), Cory Dustin Jeter, Kyle Dewayne Jeter (Kaeli), Quinton Cole Jeter, James McLemore Jeter and Virginia Sabra Jeter; and her great grandchild Jaida Faith Jeter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
