He is survived by: his son John; his daughter-in-law Lisa Thomas of Andalusia, AL; his daughters, Cheryl Thomas Dean of Montgomery, AL, Linda (Ric Ford) and Sara Thomas of Montgomery, AL; his grandchildren, Luke Thomas, Payton Thomas, Ben Ford and Mollison Thomas; and his brothers, William Cook of Biloxi, MS and Norman Thomas of Jacksonville, N. C..
