It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Virginia Spivey of Red Level, Alabama, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carolyn Virginia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gaston Cowart and Emma Smith Cowart; and her brother George Cowart. She is survived by: her husband Roy Lee Spivey; and her sister Janelle Taylor of Red Level. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
