She was predeceased by: her father Hillwright Kuykendall; her husband Newell Strickland; her mother Iona Kuykendall; and her brothers, Ray Kuykendall and Woodie Kuykendall.
She is survived by: her children, David Strickland and Anita Strickland Vandiver (Greg); and her grandchildren, Amanda Hawkins (Billy), Ashley Thompson (Mark), Courtney Strickland, Chase Strickland, Jessica Strickland, Jarrett Vandiver (Mattie) and Mikayla Vandiver.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Creek White Oak Cemetery Fund at CB&S bank.
