He was predeceased by: his father David Wooten; his wife Mary Pugh Wooten; and his siblings, Mary Katherine Collins, Margaret Morris, Barbara Butler and David Wooten.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Bell (Luis) of Red Bay, AL, Jessica Hale (John) and James Wooten (Amy); and his sisters, Shirley Honnoll of Columbus, MS, Malinda Comer of Sulligent, AL, Monnie McCoy (Herbert) of Reform, AL and Judy White (Philip) of Columbus, MS.
