It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flossie Kathleen McDonald of Red Bay, Alabama, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Silas Franklin McDonald; her son Frankie Ernest McDonald; her grandson Tony Ray Warren; her parents, Bert McKinley and Willie Catherine Cox (Godsey); and her siblings, Olen "Bus" Cox, Roland "Toad" Cox, Billy Bert Cox, Jewell Ballard, Susie Elaine Wooten, Epsy Josephine Watson and Polly Marquiss.
She is survived by: her children, Cathern Sparks (James), Richard G. McDonald (Kim) and Kathy Louise Warren; and her siblings, Lanice Lane Keller and Leborn Soland Cox. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
