He was predeceased by: his parents, Clydene Waters and Marcella Waters; and his siblings, Grady Waters, Keith Waters and Lora Mae Waters.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Waters of Lineville; his children, Melanie Duke (Jessie) of Lineville, Rodney Waters of Lineville and Matthew Waters (Ragan) of Lineville; his siblings, Janice Zeigler (Sam) of Jefferson, GA, Debra Taylor of Talladega, Tina Clarke (Keith) of Delta and Terry Waters (Karol) of Lineville; his grandchildren, Zachary Duke, Spencer Duke, Daisy Duke, Skyler Waters, Riley Mitchell, Samuel Spears, Breanna Garrett, Taylor Smith, Marilyn Fielder and Joshua Bryant; and his great grandchild Kensley Garrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
