She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Smith and Dora Smith (Olen Whitley); her son Larry Smith; and her siblings, Velma Estelle Eady, Emanuel Huburt Smith, Beulah Mary Denny, Dorothy Rampy and Sybil Campbell.
She is survived by: her niece Mellissa Bolton; her sister-in-law Lois Noles; her stepson Couch Whitley (Sue); her grandson Chase Whitley (Brooklyn); and her great grandchildren, Clete, Cayden Whitley Pallbearers, Chase Whitley, Bryan Toole, Greg Bolton, Johnny Vise and Bo Williams. She is also survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
