He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sewell and Ethel Sewell; and his siblings, Debbie Sewell, Greg Sewell and Otis Sewell.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Sewell; his daughters, Ashley "Katy" Smith (Butch) and Dawn Miller (Mike); his brothers, Larry Sewell, Jerry Sewell and Billy Sewell; and his grandchildren, Hunter Stevens, Taylor Stevens and Chloe Smith.
