He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Walker and Essie Pollard Walker Whitley; his wife Betty Noles Walker; and his brothers, Wallace Walker of Alton Whitley, J. C and Ben Whitley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis Walker Mitchell (Danny) of Conyers, Georgia, Gail Walker Skinner (Allen) of Laceys Spring and Jennifer Walker of Ranburne, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Christopher Mitchell, Elizabeth Craig (Scott), Nicholas Mitchell and Ryan Skinner.
