He was predeceased by : his parents, Lance Estes and Mae Estes; his former life partner Georgia Lee Estes; his daughter Connie Lee Estes; his stepchildren, Jonathan Newborn, Jason Newborn and Tina Newborn; his grandson Chad Everett Ridgeway; his great grandchild Katie Marie Newborn; and his sisters, Sherry McMahan and Kathleen Thornton.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Estes; his son Kenneth Ray Estes, Jr. (Colleen) of Michigan; his stepchildren, Joseph Newborn (Teresa) of Randolph County, AL, Joyce, Wingo (James) of Eastaboga, AL, Jane Alred of New York and June Bell of Florida; his granddaughter Tracie Rosol (Bob) of Michigan; and his sisters, Jan Beaster (Gary) of Michigan and Carol Roberts (Phil) of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
