He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Arthur Hurston Smith and Sephia Mae McGriff Smith; his wife Annette Edgeworth Smith; his daughters, Alicia Hendrix (Ron) and Melody Walker (Scott); his grandchildren, Austin Brooks (Hope), Andrew Brooks and Gabby Hendrix; his great grandchild Max Brooks; his sister Karon Smith Luiz (Dan); and his aunts, Agnus Rundus and Carolyn Cantrell.
