He was predeceased by: his parents, June Gwendolyn Barnett and William E. Kitchens, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. Kitchens; his children, Debbie Moseley (Dennis), Scott E. Kitchens and Angie K. Teel; and his siblings, Debbie Lynn (Tim) and Jim Kelly (Missy). He is also survived by five grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sav-a -Life: First Choice Pregnancy Center or Eastern Hills Baptist Church.
