He is survived by: his wife Lonnie Mae Dawson Mays; his children, Cassandra Mays (Jeff James), Marco Mays and Sanchez Mays; his brothers, Roosevelt Mays and Leon Mays; his grandchildren, Layion Mays, Channy James and Kameron James; his great grandchildren, Markia Austin, Marzavion Austin and Stacy Marshall; and his sisters-in-law, Carrie Belle Johnson and Callie Mae Luster.
