With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Carl Speier Jr. of Ramer, Alabama, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Marguerite; his sister Sharon; and his daughter Shelley. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughter Sherry (Kenneth); his son-in-law Mark; his grandchildren, Erica (Billy), Erin (Trevor), Emily (Steven), Kayla, Mark Jr. and Joshua; and his great grandchildren, Aleah, Vivienne, Adalynn and Noel Jay.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the God's Way Baptist Church (1100 Elba Hwy, Troy, AL 36079). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
