She was predeceased by: her parents, Will G. Gibson and Louise Johnson Gibson; her siblings, Will Glen Gibson, Sr., Leslie "Buddy" Gibson, James "Red" Gibson, Jack Gibson, Clevy Gibson and Louise Montaine Gibson; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy Gibson and Howard Sweat.

She is survived by: her children, John Overstreet Jr. (Cindy), David Overstreet (Greta), Donna Lynn Johns (Pat) and Edna Thomas; her grandchildren, Nicole Percival (Ben), Juddson Overstreet (Sara), Wesley Johns (Rachel), Shelby Overstreet, John Taylor Thomas, Abby Overstreet, Harley Overstreet, John Henry Overstreet, Payton Holley, Tyler Holley, Annabell Bryan, MaryLou Victoria Johns and Rylee Eloise Johns; her siblings, Henry "Hoot" Gibson (Bobbie) and Sue Sweat; and her nephew Tommy "Frog" Gibson (Susan).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Canty Cemetery in care of Donna Johns.
