Martha Joy Harrod Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Joy Harrod (Ramer, Alabama), who passed away on June 28, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Linley U. Prescott and Gertrude Lee Prescott; her husband William Lewis Harrod, Sr.; and her grandson William Lewis Harrod III. She is survived by: her children, Reba G. Zuidhoek, Furniss "Bo" Bender, John Dale Bender (Lillie Mae), Jimmy Ray Ellison, Jr. (Cindy), Donna Harrod, Janet Abdulla (Sam), Gayle Harrod Hegler and Billy Harrod, Jr. (Paige). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Martha Harrod.
