He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Lewis Deese and Annie Lou Deese Money; and his siblings, James Deese and Sarah Parker. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lou Durden, Katie Smith, Annie Ruth Dees, Franklin Deese and Rebecca Hall. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hill Chapel Cemetery Fund, 10989 Mt. Zion Rd. Ramar, AL. 36069.
