He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Macon Norman; and his parents, James H. and Sallie Norman. He is survived by: his children, James W. Norman, Jr. of Ramer, David E. Norman (Heidi) of Ramer and Diane N. Van Sandt (Tommy) of Killen, AL; and his granddaughters, Brandi Kolmetz (Wayne) of Chipley, FL, Heather Bowen (Jason) of Honarville, AL and Rachel Hamm (Clay) of Shellhorn, AL.
