Willodean Mitchell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 80, Willodean Mitchell of Rainsville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Alfred Mitchell; her granddaughter Connie Gillilan; and her husband George Liggit. She is survived by: her children, Paulette Bryant (Dale), Dee Dee Williams (Melissa), Tabitha Mitchell, Chris Hipp (Amy) and Taylor Sexton; her siblings, Brenda Griffith, Ruby Smith, Sara Cox, Bobby Smith and LeRoy Smith; and her grandchildren, April Bryant, Jackalynn Meyers, Mitchell Meyers, Hayley Wallace, Hana Hipp, Haven Hipp and Majestic Mitchell. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the W. T. Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
