She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Kirby (Melissa) of Sylvania, Gregory Shankles of Rainsville and Robert Shankles of Rainsville; her siblings, Ronald Murphy of Flat Rock, Kathy Guinn of Fyffe, Myra Johnson of Rainsville and Mary Waller of Rainsville; and her grandchildren, Ethan Kirby, Lacey Kirby, Ava Shankles, Kamryn Shankles and Avery Shankles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rainsville Funeral Home (498 McCurdy Ave N, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
