With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rick Hedrick (Rainsville, Alabama), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Hedrick and Alice Hedrick; and his siblings, Ronnie Hedrick and Cheryl Wright. He is survived by: his wife Alethea Wofford; his children, Alison Whittaker (Greg), Ashley Wofford and Jake Hedrick; his grandchildren, Kaleigh and J. T. Whittaker; his brother Terry Hedrick; and his brother-in-law Doug Wright.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rainsville Funeral Home (498 McCurdy Ave N, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
