She was predeceased by: her husband Waymon Roden; her daughter Dwayla Roden; her parents, Clyde Harris and Ophelia Harris; and her brother Michael Harris (Peggy).

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Steele and Gary Roden; her siblings, Katherine Frost, Rebecca Guinn, Sara Ducker, James Harris, Hoyt Harris, David Harris and Robert Harris; her grandchildren, Jessica Roden-Cannon, Renee Roden, Ashlynn Lutkehus, Abby Lutkehus and Anderson Lutkehus; and her great grandchildren, David Cannon, Evangelene Cannon, Jack and Truly.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
