It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Stewart Floyd of Rainsville, Alabama, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Brayton Floyd and Claudia Floyd; and his siblings, Brayton Floyd, Joyce Ramsey, Naomi Lankford, Barbara Gulledge and Ronnie Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Shann Floyd; his daughters, Wendi Lehman and Jenny Floyd; and his stepchildren, Miranda Higgins (Brandon), Jessica Duncan and Brandon Duncan (Lacey). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Camp; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (404 S Moore Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
