With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayla Dupree of Rainsville, Alabama, who passed away on April 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Ryan Dupree; her parents, Edward Ashley and Elba Ashley; her sister Robbie Nette Phillips; her niece Deborah Eason; and her nephew Eddie Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Dupree of Rainsville; her son Anthony Dupree (Peggy); her brother-in-law Ray Phillips of Dawson; her grandchildren, Collin Dupree (Madison), Seth Dupree (Anna), Marcus Williamson (Paige), Lari Dupree and Landry Dupree; and her great grandchildren, Parker Williamson, Quinn Williamson and James Clark Williamson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rainsville Funeral Home (498 McCurdy Ave N, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
