It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dylan Wayne Gilbert (Rainsville, Alabama), who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Kristy Johnson; his stepparents, Jeremiah Johnson and Jerry; his brother Devan; his sister-in-law McKayla Gilbert; his stepsiblings, Jared Johnson, Kelsey Johnson and Amy Hayes; his grandmothers, Glenda Whitmire and Billie Jean Gilbert; his aunts and uncles, Alicia Yates, Kandie Murdock, Morgan Whitmire, Weston Culpepper, Ben Whitmire and Stevie Whitmire; and his girlfriend Brandy Black. He is also survived by 3 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the W. T. Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986).
